Dropped Ipad On Floor Not Working

It is ok now but i bet it would have recorded a nasty shock which i am sure they do.

And when its plugged in i can hear a power chirp noise but its constant. I let it charge overnight and when i looked at it the next morning it seemed that it was just turned off because the screen was completely dark so i tried turning it on. The ipad seems to be working because when i plug in it makes a chirp and when i take a screenshot by pressing the home and side button simultaneously it makes the camara shutter sound. What seems to be working good is slapping it on the back where the apple logo is. I dropped my ipad not very far.
